A man is in custody after a fatal shooting Thursday night in the east Las Vegas Valley.
It occurred around 9:50 p.m. Wednesday in the 8300 block of Mulcahy Avenue.
The shooting occurred Oct. 20 in the 6600 block of Grand Stand Avenue in the north end of the valley near West Grand Teton Drive and North Rainbow Boulevard.
Students were asked to contact University Police Services to gain entrance to buildings that are not affected by the investigation.
The 41-year-old suspect has been charged with first-degree arson in connection with the central Las Vegas fire, according to the Clark County Fire Department.
Police said they were working to finalize several terrorism-related felony charges in the case, including possessing components to make bombs.
