The Nevada Gaming Commission voted unanimously Thursday to remove Charles “Charlie Moose” Panarella from the state’s List of Excluded persons because he died in 2017.
The state Gaming Control Board has recommended approval of horse racing dates for the White Pine and Elko county fairs in August.
Gov. Steve Sisolak said Wednesday that he will appoint Sandra Douglass Morgan as chair of the board, which oversees the state’s gaming licensing, audits, investigations and enforcement. She will replace former state Sen. Becky Harris.
