The “Storm Area 51” events planned for Lincoln County will pile up a hefty bill, and officials could pursue legal action against Facebook and the original event organizers to recoup some of that.

Gov. Steve Sisolak said he’s been in contact with state and local agencies, including the Nevada National Guard, in regards to the planned “Storm Area 51” events.
Not wanting to leave anything to chance, Lincoln County pre-signed a declaration of emergency Monday to prepare for apossible surge of visitors to the desolate area ahead of a pair of events tied to the “Storm Area 51” phenomenon .
