The pilot of a fighter jet owned and operated by a military contractor died when the aircraft crashed in a northeast Las Vegas neighborhood Monday.
The Air Force’s Thunderbirds gave residents a reason to head outside and cheer for the first time in weeks after the fighter jets performed a flyover above every hospital in the Las Vegas Valley on Saturday afternoon.
The 86-year-old man was one of four new deaths announced Saturday morning by the Southern Nevada Health Department, bringing the state’s total to 14.
