Powerball’s jackpot was last won July 19 when a ticket in California matched all five white balls and the red ball to win $1.08 billion.
Two tickets did get the five regular numbers plus the power play to claim $2 million each. One was sold in Georgia and one in Texas.
The odds of winning a Powerball jackpot — no matter the size — are near 1 in 292.2 million.
The Federal Aviation Administration said United Airlines had requested the ground stop as a result of a communications issue.
