Kobe Walker’s two-run home run keyed a six-run third inning and helped the Lynx to a 13-5 win over Yerington in a winner-take-all game for the 2A crown. It’s the third straight state title for Lincoln County.

Gage Streit singled home Tommy Dirk with one out in the bottom of the seventh Friday to give Foothill’s baseball team a 3-2 home win over Liberty.
Michael Marraro’s RBI single in top of the eighth inning broke a 6-6 tie and lifted Spring Valley’s baseball team to an 8-6 road win over Durango on Friday.
The Cowboys picked up wins over Western and Valley on Saturday, then beat Clark on Monday to clinch a home showdown Tuesday with Tech, which they outlasted 4-2 in the tournament title game.
James Cobian was 3-for-4 with three runs and two RBIs to lead Chaparral’s baseball team to a 5-3 home win over Clark in the Cowboy Classic semifinals.
