Bishop Gorman outfielder Tyler Whitaker is ranked No. 37 on MLB.com’s top 250 prospect list — one spot out of the first round — as the draft begins Sunday.
The spring sports season was limited to six weeks, with some teams’ seasons even shorter because of COVID, but players and coaches were just happy to get back on the field.
