Legacy’s girls basketball team created 26 turnovers — and finished with 16 steals — to run away with a 58-35 victory over Las Vegas High in pool play of the Liberty Invitational at Liberty on Friday.
Clark made the leap from Division I-A (now Class 3A) to Class 4A, and will be playing in the Southwest League this season alongside perennial power Bishop Gorman, which has won the last five Class 4A state championships.
The winners of the last three Division I-A state titles have a new coach and 10 returning lettermen.
