Carl Crayon had a team-high 12 points and made a handful of key plays in the final 2:26 as host Eldorado outlasted Canyon Springs 46-42 on Wednesday in a Division I Sunrise Region quarterfinal.
Aleza Bell scored 13 of her 19 points in the second half, and D’Licya Feaster scored all 10 of her points in the second as Canyon Springs climbed out of a deep hole to down visiting Rancho 39-35 in a Sunrise Region quarterfinal.
Like most teams with several returning players, Silverado’s boys basketball squad expected to improve this season.
