Gators shake off sloppy start to down Las Vegas

Green Valley’s plan Friday was to come out with a balanced offensive attack.

The Gators started sloppy, but eventually achieved that objective to defeat visiting Las Vegas 44-31 in a Sunrise Region quarterfinal.

Gators power to victory

Spread offenses are often known for being passive and based solely on finesse. Green Valley proved that stereotype wrong Friday night. The Gators pounded the ball from the spread, rushing for 327 yards and holding on for a 38-34 win at Las Vegas High.
