Instead, the Mountain Lions defense attacked from both sides of the offensive line, converged on Kaimuki quarterback Jonah Fa’asoa, and got the sixth sack of the game to preserve a 28-26 home win.
The Mountain Lions have finished second in the Southwest League the last two seasons, and while they may not be able to challenge Bishop Gorman for the league title, they should be able to vie for a home playoff spot again.
