Eldorado’s Matthew Manganello birdied seven holes at Reflection Bay on Tuesday en route to a 5-under-par 67 and the first-round lead at the Mountain Region Tournament.
Western’s Jared Smith carded a 1-under-par 71 at Boulder City Municipal on Monday and holds the lead at the midway point of the Class 3A Southern Region tournament.
Benjamin Sawaia carded a 4-under-par 68 at Chimera on Tuesday to share medalist honors and help Coronado’s boys golf team to victory in a Southeast League match.
