UNLV sophomore Jack Trent shot 5-under-par 67 to share the lead after the first round of the Southern Highlands Collegiate men’s golf tournament, and the host Rebels were tied for fourth in the 15-team field.

Justine Federe belted two of UNLV’s four home runs, and Samantha Diaz and Lauren Tycksen each had five of the Rebels’ 21 hits as they won two games Saturday in the Chanticleer Showdown in Conway, South Carolina.
