Tyrell Brooks had 23 points, and Terrence Brooks scored 21 to power Mountain View’s boys basketball team to a 56-49 road victory over The Meadows on Saturday.
Pahranagat Valley girls basketball coach Amy Huntsman collected her 500th career win Saturday as the Panthers downed host White Pine 43-37 in Ely.
Spring Valley 132-pounder Andres Garcia beat the Sunrise Region champion, the Sunset runner-up and last week’s Sunset Region champion to claim his first Class 4A state championship Friday at The Orleans Arena.
