Tommi Stockham had 17 kills, 14 digs and two aces as Bishop Gormans girls volleyball team held on for a 25-21, 25-10, 26-28, 26-24 win at Palo Verde on Wednesday night.

Andrada Stanciu and Ariana Stanciu each finished 3-0 in singles, and Sierra Vista’s girls tennis team won the tiebreaker points 35-31 to hold on for a 10-9 home win over Desert Oasis on Wednesday.
Tanner Albright and Ojas Sali each went 3-0 in singles to help Ranchos boys tennis team to a 10-8 road win over Las Vegas on Wednesday afternoon.
Boulder City’s girls tennis team won a tiebreaker to clinch a 10-9 road victory over Foothill on Tuesday afternoon.
Boulder City’s boys tennis team used a 31-25 tiebreaker to earn a 10-9 victory over Foothill on Tuesday afternoon.
Daniel Rangel had a goal and an assist to help Las Vegas High’s boys soccer team to a 3-2 road win over Foothill.
Gabriel Miranda scored on a penalty kick in the final minute for Faith Lutheran’s boys soccer team Saturday to force a draw against Western. The Crusaders won 4-3 in penalty kicks at Green Valley to advance to the finals of the Southern Nevada Kick-off Classic.
