Vashti Cunningham had 13 kills and three aces Monday to lead Bishop Gorman’s girls volleyball team to a 25-17, 25-15, 20-25, 25-16 victory over visiting Legacy.
Saipeti Fuiava had 13 kills, three aces and three digs, and Myah Maxwell had 14 kills and eight digs to lead Legacy’s girls volleyball team to a 25-8, 32-30, 21-25, 25-19 win over visiting Basic on Wednesday.
Jaylin Ellis had 16 kills and 21 digs Tuesday to help Palo Verde’s girls volleyball team outlast host Rancho, 25-21, 25-22, 18-25, 23-25, 15-10.
Hannah Goddard had 10 kills and seven aces Thursday as Arbor View’s girls volleyball team swept visiting Cheyenne, 25-10, 25-14, 25-12.
Megan Kronschnabel had 32 assists and 11 digs Wednesday as host Faith Lutheran’s girls volleyball team rallied from a two-set deficit for a 17-25, 16-25, 26-24, 25-18, 15-5 win over Bishop Gorman.
Patrick Savoy didn”t receive any scholarship offers after completing an all-state senior season with Las Vegas High. But the 6-foot-4-inch shooting guard hopes that will change this spring when he plays with Dream Vision AAU on the travel basketball circuit.
