Las Vegas battled back from as many as 16 points down in the second half Tuesday but couldn’t find an answer for Trevin Knell and lost 69-58 to Woods Cross (Utah) in the third-place game of the Eastbay Division at Bishop Gorman.
Faith Lutheran gave up an 18-6 scoring run at the end of the first half and couldn’t get enough stops late in a 73-61 loss to ThunderRidge (Colorado) in the winner’s bracket of the Tarkanian Classic Eastbay Division at Bishop Gorman.
Clark went cold from the field against nationally ranked Chino Hills (California) and saw a 10-point lead turn into a 91-87 loss in the opening round of the Platinum Division at the Tarkanian Classic.
