Cayden Duncan threw a three-hitter and struck out seven Monday as Bonanza’s baseball team completed a perfect day in the Blazer Spring Bash with a 3-1 win over visiting Sylmar (California).
Kadrena Johnson’s basket with five seconds to play Tuesday gave Palo Verde’s girls basketball team a 34-32 home win over Bonanza.
Garin Macfarlane had 27 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists Tuesday to help Shadow Ridge’s boys basketball team outlast visiting Rancho, 106-97.
