The Palo Verde softball team rolled to a home win over Coronado on Friday for the Class 5A Southern Region title. Both teams are headed to the state tournament.

Freshman Valeria Lopez came through with a big hit to help No. 4-ranked Centennial erase a 4-0 deficit in the sixth inning and defeat No. 1 Palo Verde on Wednesday.
Shadow Ridge pitcher Josslin Law kept calm despite letting a few runners reach base and helped her team defeat Palo Verde on Monday.
