Hours are changing this week for the scenic drive at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area.
With a change of the season comes changes for days and hours at some Southern Nevada outdoor recreation areas.
Entrance to the park typically costs $15 for cars, $10 for motorcycles and $5 for bicycles and pedestrians. Since fees are waived Saturday, the park is expecting heavy crowds.
The campground at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area west of Las Vegas reopens on Friday, according to the Bureau of Land Management.
Allison and John Messmore opened Red E Bike in 2019 and have been leading tours of the canyon’s Scenic Loop ever since.
Visitors won’t have to pay for amenity-related fees at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area this Saturday in recognition of National Get Outdoors Day.
