A suspect in the brazen heist of the New York-New York casino cage early Thursday has been booked at the Clark County Detention Center on suspicion of burglary and robbery.

A man used a gun to rob a cashier cage about 10:35 a.m. at Excalibur, 3850 Las Vegas Boulevard South, Metropolitan Police Department spokesman Aden OcampoGomez said.
Cameron James Kennedy, 26, was charged with robbery in the armed holdup of a casino cage at New York-New York, according to the U.S. Department of Justice and a federal criminal complaint filed last week.
