A California woman has been arrested in the theft of a luxury watch from a tourist on the Las Vegas Strip after a visit to the man’s hotel room.
Justin Leigh Venegas went on a rampage that authorities said sparked an hour-long, 47-mile police chase with cops and Venegas shooting at each other. Police said they had no choice but to pursue.
Prosecutors plan to seek capital punishment for two men accused of committing a string of armed robberies that left two people dead on New Year’s Eve.
