Ryan Elezra and Ben Leiberman went 3-0 in doubles play to lead Green Valleys boys tennis team to an 11-7 win at Rancho on Thursday afternoon.
The doubles teams of Emma Grant and Katelyn Woodworth, and Marlaina George and Victoria Bickel both went 3-0 to help Foothills girls tennis team to a 14-4 home win over Las Vegas High on Thursday afternoon.
Jacob Godman scored the go-ahead run on Wesley Cosby’s squeeze bunt in the bottom of the sixth Tuesday to help the Palo Verde baseball team edge visiting Shadow Ridge, 6-5.
Marisa Olmos went 2-for-5 with a home run and three RBIs, and Liberty’s softball team scored twice in the top of the eighth inning to rally for a 10-8 victory over host Basic on Tuesday.
Jack Trent shot a 3-under-par 33 at Paiute on Monday to earn medalist honors and lead the Palo Verde boys golf team to a 173-199 win over Arbor View. The Panthers had four players shoot under par in the match.
