Makenzie Leishman led Virgin Valley’s flag football team with 12 tackles and two sacks and added 36 yards receiving to help the Bulldogs to a 25-18 win at Del Sol on Tuesday afternoon.
Katy Orellana had a hand in five touchdowns for the Tech flag football team, and the Roadrunners blanked host Moapa Valley 38-0 on Monday for their second shutout of the season.
Maka Ellis poured in 52 points Monday night to lead the Sierra Vista boys basketball team to an 86-79 win over visiting Desert Oasis.
