Centennial hosted Coronado in a Class 5A girls soccer game Wednesday afternoon. Coronado won 5-1.

Silverado hadn’t trailed all season, but had to come from behind against Coronado on Friday night. The Skyhawks rushed for 258 yards and scored the final 22 points.
Silverado struggled offensively against Sierra Vista but still cruised to a 36-7 win. The Skyhawks host No. 5 Coronado, and No. 2 Shadow Ridge welcomes No. 3 Desert Oasis.
A point guard, Richard Isaacs played at Coronado as a freshman before departing for Wasatch Acaemcy, which plays a national schedule. He’s returned to Coronado for his senior season.

It was only two years ago that Centennial played for a state championship. The rebuilding Bulldogs picked up their first win, 9-8 over Legacy on Friday.
