Cali Thompson had 39 assists, six aces, two kills and seven digs, and Carolyn Andrulis added 11 kills and nine digs Tuesday to help Coronado’s girls volleyball team win the Southeast League title with a 25-13, 25-13, 25-14 win over visiting Foothill.
Whittnee Nihipali had 25 kills, 15 digs and four aces on Tuesday to help Shadow Ridge’s girls volleyball team to a 25-19, 25-17, 18-25, 18-25, 15-11 win at Bishop Gorman.
Talie Bonds had eight kills, 26 assists, 23 digs and three aces Wednesday as host Centennial outlasted Shadow Ridge, 26-24, 22-25, 14-25, 25-22, 15-13, in a matchup of two of the top girls volleyball teams in the Sunset Region.
Jaylin Ellis had 16 kills and 21 digs Tuesday to help Palo Verde’s girls volleyball team outlast host Rancho, 25-21, 25-22, 18-25, 23-25, 15-10.
