RENO — The first day of the Division I state golf tournament at the Montreux Golf and Country Club greeted players with chilly weather and high winds, making the already difficult alpine course all that much harder.
Montreux Golf and Country Club, site of this week’s Division I state boys golf tournament, is one of the longest on the PGA Tour at more than 7,400 yards.
