Bishop Gorman senior quarterback Micah Alejado threw three touchdowns and added a rushing score to lead Gorman to a 56-11 victory over Liberty to win the 5A Division I state title.
Shadow Ridge and Silverado ruled Class 4A the last two seasons. Both programs are adjusting to making the jump to the state’s top division.
Silverado hosts Shadow Ridge in a rematch of the last two Class 4A state championship games to highlight the Southern Nevada Week 7 high school football schedule.
