FLAG FOOTBALL: Carmell, Eagles roll past Cimarron

Jeanne Carmell tossed four touchdown passes and ran for a score Wednesday as Boulder City’s flag football routed visiting Cimarron-Memorial, 40-0.

FLAG FOOTBALL: Poullard leads Dragons by Grizzlies

Tarika Poullard had 17 catches for 169 yards and three touchdowns Monday to lead Del Sol’s flag football team to a 46-24 road victory over Spring Valley.

Lani Potter carded a 3-over-par 75 at Wildhorse on Wednesday to help Boulder City’s girls golf team win a Sunrise League match.

GIRLS SOCCER: Bunker, Schraft help Pirates nip Miners

Bailey Bunker and Alexia Schraft each scored a first-half goal Thursday to lead Moapa Valley’s girls soccer team to a 2-1 win over visiting Sunrise Mountain.

BOYS SOCCER: Morales, Cowboys down Dragons

Jose Morales had two goals to help Chaparral’s boys soccer team to a 4-2 victory over host Del Sol on Thursday.

BASEBALL: Sotello, Pioneers hang on to beat Vikings

Sebastian Sotello lined a one-out double off the left-field fence to score Carlos Alcala in the top of the eighth, and the Canyon Springs baseball team held on for an 11-10 win at Valley on Tuesday.

SOFTBALL: Miners take advantage of Chaparral miscues

Sunrise Mountain’s softball team took advantage of a missed tag on a grounder up the first base line and a misplayed ball at third base to score two runs with two outs in the sixth inning and held on for a 2-1 win at Chaparral on Tuesday.

BASEBALL: Williams, Longhorns edge visiting Falcons

Donta Williams’ two-run single in the bottom of the sixth inning capped a four-run rally, and Legacy’s baseball team edged visiting Foothill 10-9 on Friday to earn its first victory of the season.
