Foothill sophomore Karina Haymore struggled at the start of the Southeast League girls championship race on her home course Saturday.

Carolyn Andrulis and Berkeley Oblad each had 12 kills as Coronado’s girls volleyball team swept visiting Foothill 25-14, 25-12, 25-15 on Thursday to take over sole possession of first place in the Southeast League.
Basic’s cross country team had six of the top 14 runners and won a cluster meet at Cornerstone Park on Wednesday.
