T.J. Blanchard had 26 kills on Thursday to lead Mojave to a 25-19, 21-25, 22-25, 25-16, 15-12 boys volleyball victory over host Boulder City.
Rancho’s Teleda Williams and Gizelle Reid set the top two times in the state so far this season in both the 100- and 200-meter dashes and helped the Rams’ 400-relay team to another lopsided victory in the Skyhawk Invitational at Silverado.
Arbor View’s Keith Williams led at the front of a pack of five runners early. Eventually, he managed to hold off PahrumpValley’s Bryce Odegard and Centennial’s Alexander Miller in the final quarter mile, putting in a good finishing kick to cross the line in 16 minutes and 13 seconds.
Savon Scarver won two individual events Friday, and the Centennial boys track team took control after the first day of the Skyhawk Invitational at Silverado.
Jack Guynn and Chase Castro both recorded a goal and an assist on the road Wednesday, as Shadow Ridge took down Faith Lutheran, 3-1.
Western’s Ellyson Reynada and Kirsten Molina each had a goal and an assist Monday, as the Warriors held off Cheyenne at home, 3-2.

Mckenzie Grimes won two individual events at Pavilion on Saturday to lead Centennial’s girls swimming team to a 163-130 win over Desert Oasis.
