Nevada Highway Patrol troopers shot and killed an armed person Thursday evening outside of an NHP substation in Jean. The shooting occurred after an earlier apparent road rage incident involving another driver on Interstate 15.

Las Vegas police arrested Tonya Dillard, 27, and her boyfriend Jacob Berkovitz, 24, after a tip led police to a home near East Lake Mead Boulevard and North Lamb Boulevard.
Two teenage boys were apparently shot and killed by the man, who died of a “self-inflicted” gunshot wound, police said.
The deputy fired one bullet toward an unarmed suspect during an arrest near a Pahrump Walmart in February.
A man was shot and killed by Henderson police in an officer-involved shooting Saturday.

A person called 911 at about 9 p.m. Thursday, claiming he was shot by his grandfather, Metropolitan Police Department Lt. Miguel Ibarra said.
