A man sent to death row nearly eight years ago for the shooting death of a 15-year-old girl inside her Las Vegas home has died.

The teenager was taken to University Medical Center with life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital on Monday.
The 17-year-old is the fifth person arrested in connection to a fatal shooting in an apartment in the northwest Las Vegas Valley in early January.
Suspects Cristobal Omar Perez, 31, and Kylee Au Yong, 21, were taken into custody by law enforcement Thursday, Metropolitan Police Department homicide Lt. Jason Johansson said at a news briefing.
The shooting occurred about 6:15 p.m. near Sands Avenue and Paradise Road, according to police.
The FBI is looking for information on a man suspected of shooting and killing his girlfriend and carjacking her friend.
Kyrel Coleman, 18, was arrested Tuesday, according to a Henderson Police Department news release.
