Paolo Sarnataro made eight saves Saturday to lead Durango’s boys soccer team to a 3-0 victory over Centennial in the semifinals of the Southern Nevada Kick-Off Classic at Green Valley.
Eric Jordan scored the winning run on a bases-loaded balk with two outs in the bottom of the seventh inning Tuesday as the Shadow Ridge baseball team outlasted visiting Centennial, 4-3.
Morgan Peacha rolled a 637 series at The Orleans on Thursday to lead Foothill’s girls bowling team to a 9-0 win over Valley in the opening round of the Sunrise Region tournament.
Call it brilliant planning. Call it good fortune. Whatever the reason, this week’s prep football schedule couldn’t have worked out better.
