Cayden Duncan threw a three-hitter and struck out seven Monday as Bonanza’s baseball team completed a perfect day in the Blazer Spring Bash with a 3-1 win over visiting Sylmar (California).
Jake Whiddon pinned his opponent at 195 pounds in 1 minute, 34 seconds Tuesday to help Liberty’s wrestling team to a 38-36 home win over Foothill.
Liberty’s Hayden Prasad scored his second goal of the game with 15 minutes remaining Monday, and the visiting Patriots knocked off Bishop Gorman 2-1 in boys soccer.
Isabella Skrinjaric scored the game’s lone goal as Legacy’s girls soccer team battled out a 1-0 home win over Eldorado on Monday.

Coronado’s boys golf shot a two-day total of 23-over-par 599 as a team to win the Class 4A state golf tournament at Reflection Bay Golf Club on Tuesday. It was the Cougars’ first title since 2012, and Coronado players celebrated by jumping into Lake Las Vegas.
Alyssa Tygh threw for 322 yards and six touchdowns Thursday to help host Palo Verde’s flag football team to a 40-13 rout of Sierra Vista in a Sunset Region flag football semifinal.
