The Bishop Gorman softball team defeated Silverado on Saturday at the College of Southern Nevada to defend its Class 4A state championship.
Shadow Ridge and Silverado will play for a second consecutive year in the 4A state title game, the last of four title games Monday at Allegiant Stadium.
