Alexis Farias and Sadie Christian, the Nos. 1 and 2 hitters in the lineup, combined to go 5-for-5 with seven runs and four RBIs in the first four trips through the order, and Foothill’s softball team pounded 19 hits in a 21-11, five-inning win at Silverado.
Yvette Sanchez went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs, and Tiare Lee added a home run to help Rancho’s softball team to a 6-1 win at Green Valley on Tuesday.
Arienn Ackerman’s two-run double in the bottom of the sixth inning broke a 2-2 tie and lifted Las Vegas High’s softball team to a 4-2 home win over Basic on Monday.

Caitlyn Stevenson singled in the bottom of the eighth inning to plate Kaitlyn Enzweiler with the winning run as the Foothill softball team edged visiting Liberty, 8-7 on Wednesday.

Winning pitcher Holly Severance had a three-run double in a five-run fifth inning Friday as the Desert Oasis softball team stunned host Centennial, 9-6.
