Pahranagat Valley’s boys basketball team built an 18-point lead by the end of the first quarter and cruised to a 68-29 victory over Owyhee in the Class 1A state semifinals Friday at Durango.
Culen Highbe poured in 27 points, and the Panthers never trailed in downing Spring Mountain, 51-33 in the Class 1A Southern League final at Sunrise Mountain on Saturday.
