Hannah Ferrara had two goals and two assists, and Karissa Martinez and Sierra Vicente each had a goal and an assist to lead Arbor View’s girls soccer team to a 5-0 home win over Centennial on Wednesday night.
Kylie Gibson had 17 kills, four aces and two blocks to help Bishop Gorman’s girls volleyball team win the Class 4A Sunset League with a 19-25, 25-15, 25-20, 25-15 home win over Durango on Friday night.
Arbor View’s Keith Williams led at the front of a pack of five runners early. Eventually, he managed to hold off PahrumpValley’s Bryce Odegard and Centennial’s Alexander Miller in the final quarter mile, putting in a good finishing kick to cross the line in 16 minutes and 13 seconds.
