Bailey Bunker and Alexia Schraft each scored a first-half goal Thursday to lead Moapa Valley’s girls soccer team to a 2-1 win over visiting Sunrise Mountain.

Tanner Durkin had 15 kills, and Grant Nelson added 39 assists and seven aces Thursday to lead host Centennial’s boys volleyball team to a 25-17, 19-25, 25-16, 22-25, 15-11 win over Arbor View.

Donta Williams’ two-run single in the bottom of the sixth inning capped a four-run rally, and Legacy’s baseball team edged visiting Foothill 10-9 on Friday to earn its first victory of the season.

SOFTBALL: Miners rally to top Roadrunners

Klarissa Hernandez went 3-for-4, and Sunrise Mountain’s softball team scored four times in the bottom of the seventh inning Friday to pull out a 6-5 victory over visiting Tech.
