With revelers set to return to the Las Vegas Strip and downtown to ring in the New Year, locals and visitors alike can expect an influx of traffic and road closures as the area ushers in 2022.
“The attack was unprovoked,” police said, adding the assault involved a “willful, unlawful, and malicious injury will leave a permanent disfiguring scar.”
Police responded to a 2020 crime wave by carrying out Operation Persistent Pressure, using a heavy officer presence on the Strip to combat a rise in aggravated assaults.
The Clark County Commission gave the green light to acquire 17 acres near the Diamond Inn Motel and the Little Church of the West wedding chapel.
