Visitors during the inaugural Formula One Grand Prix can expect plenty of fanfare in Las Vegas. For some, they’re miles away from the track.
The drop in demand forced a gas station to lay off four people on Oct. 19, cut hours for others and reduced the number of people on schedule at a time.
Formula One and Super Bowl are just two of several big events that will draw thousands of people to Southern Nevada between now and mid-February.
