AAA said it expects over 55 million Americans to travel this Thanksgiving weekend, and it offered some tips for those taking to the roads.

Officials are anticipating a lot of traffic at the Las Vegas airport over Labor Day weekend.
About 45,000 people drove through the California-Nevada border on Interstate 15 every day last year, but some days and months are more of a nightmare.
Travelers were being urged to give themselves more time to get to the airport and to also check their flight status.
The airport, which handled a record number of passengers last year, says it is reducing its tram service for several weeks.
