Despite missing three post players, Coronado’s girls basketball team turned in a full team effort in its 62-16 win over Valley in the Liberty Invitational on Friday.
Hannah Ferrara had two goals and two assists, and Karissa Martinez and Sierra Vicente each had a goal and an assist to lead Arbor View’s girls soccer team to a 5-0 home win over Centennial on Wednesday night.
Arbor View’s Keith Williams led at the front of a pack of five runners early. Eventually, he managed to hold off PahrumpValley’s Bryce Odegard and Centennial’s Alexander Miller in the final quarter mile, putting in a good finishing kick to cross the line in 16 minutes and 13 seconds.
Madison Knoblock was 3-0 in singles and Liberty’s girls tennis team edged visiting Eldorado 10-9 on a tiebreaker on Tuesday.
