The Las Vegas Valley is heading into another hot and sunny week with an excessive heat warning on the horizon, the National Weather Service said.

The heat goes on: Earth sizzled to its hottest June on record as the climate keeps going to extremes.
A wind advisory will be in effect for the Las Vegas Valley on Sunday from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m., bringing gusts up to 50 mph, according to the National Weather Service.
