More than four months after an 82-year-old woman’s body was found at a northwest Las Vegas home, her death has been ruled a homicide.

Police received a report of a shooting at a home on the 7600 block of Sugarloaf Peak Street, near Farm Road and Hualapai Way, shortly before 11 a.m.
“How can you do that to another human being?” the man’s father, Jerry Jaggers, said in a recent interview with the Review-Journal.
Police said a man was fatally shot on Thursday in a west Las Vegas neighborhood, near Desert Inn Road and Durango Drive, and another person was injured.
