She also was one of the first businesses to move to the Arts District in Vegas, now a bustling and growing community of different artists and businesses. The art community here, she says, is small but strong. Everyone is encouraging and uplifting and supports the work of others.
Slonina is also a judge and producer of the body painting competition show Skin Wars on GSN.
Coming from a multi disciplinary background, she begs any artist to give body painting a try.
“You’ll get hooked,” she says.
