The average highs for this time of year are generally in the mid-90s, but the high on Saturday was 105 degrees, the weather service said. The low for Saturday night will be 80 degrees.

Highs for Sunday and Monday are forecast to reach 104 and 103 degrees, respectively.

Light winds are also expected to last through Wednesday, but should increase to 15-20 mph with gusts up to 25 mph on Sunday in the west valley, meteorologist Alex Boothe said. After that, winds will stay light.
