Las Vegas Valley to see warmer temps in 2nd full week of new year

Sunday will be cool and windy before next week brings another chance for rain to the valley, the National Weather Service said.

Saturday saw a high of 85 degrees. Sunday is expected a high of 89 degrees. Winds should stay in the 15 to 20 mph range Sunday.

Monday will be dry and warmer; the forecast high is 90 degrees, the Weather Service said.

A storm system will pass over the valley Tuesday and Wednesday, bringing cooler temperatures and a 20 percent chance of rain.
