Joecks column on national media coverage of Mayweather-McGregor fight right on the mark
It’s “bravo” for Victor Joecks most every day, but his Wednesday column is “extra, extra read all about it” good (“Media elitism displayed in fight coverage”). He perfectly stated the problem with the media. Great courage on Mr. Joecks’ part to tackle the issue. Columnists Dan Barry of The New York Times and Jason Gay of The Wall Street Journal would be singing the praises for the fight had it been held in Cuba. And it would have been attended by the New York elite, of course.
